Barbara Dutkiewicz - the idea of the whole project and individual concerts, developing music choreography, preparing the performers, artistic direction.

Concerts for children are often concerts with a variety of performances (instrumental and vocal) and a varied repertoire. Works performed live by musicians (interumentalists and vocalists) are intertwined with pieces whose performance is enriched with movement activities (music choreographies or historical dances). The selection of the repertoire and the duration of individual pieces take into account the children's perceptions and are accompanied by an appropriate commentary by the person leading the concert.

Barbara Dutkiewicz in the years 2007-2012 independently organized, conducted and prepared programs of integration concerts (for disabled children) from the series "Colors and forms of music" at the New Concert Hall at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice (only in this serie there were about 30 concerts, which enjoyed great interest and one hundred percent audience presence, filling the hall with 480 seats).
Barbara Dutkiewicz also co-organized concerts for families with disabled children taking place in the Auditorium of B. Szabelski at the Academy of Music in Katowice in the formula of Sunday concerts combined with workshops and games for children (in cooperation with the President of the Polish Mental Hygiene Society - Silesian Branch in Katowice, Maria Jaskólska, under the patronage of the Rector of the Academy of Music in Katowice).

A special musical project dedicated to children was the realization of a fairy-tale chamber concert entitled "The Fairy Tales of Mother Goos" - based on the music of Maurycy Ravel (it was a concert for the youngest audience in the form of an original musical performance).

The idea of the whole project, direction, set design, stage movement, music choreography - were developed by Barbara Dutkiewicz. Performed by the piano duo "Kopiński Duo" and students and graduates of Eurhythmics AM in Katowice: Zuzanna Pałka, Agnieszka Podsiadło, Katarzyna Kawończyk and Barbara Dutkiewicz, who played characters from fairy tales and performed the stage part of the action.

The premiere, commissioned by the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, took place in the Chamber Hall of PNRSO in Katowice on November 28, 2015.

Barbara Dutkiewicz is also very often invited to think up and prepare a concert for children (e.g. the first concert for children, which took place at PNRSO in Katowice, was invented and prepared entirely by Barbara Dutkiewicz. During this concert, student choreography works were presented. Barbara Dutkiewicz is also a frequent guest of concerts for children, which take place in various Katowice institutions, including: in the Silesian Library "Musical moods" and in the Secondary School of Music "Children's musical meetings". The creator and organizer of these concerts is prof. Mirosława Knapik, an employee of the University of Silesia in Katowice.
